Last night, I was a bit bored, but remembered that I was in Europe, not Allendale. Therefore, my boredom was easily solved! I went for a little "paseo" or stroll along the river and stumbled into these beauties!
The Torre de Oro, which I have talked about before, I just think it is so cool. It is a naval museum now, and thanks to the friendly security guard he told me it is free on Mondays and is open until 6:45! That's the other thing, everything here is in military time, so it was really 18:45 that it was open until. I plan on making my way over there during the siesta on Monday and climbing up to the top! I also really want to kayak down the river.
On my walk, I passed some cool buildings, which I am looking into what they are. I also found these stray cats, just living their lives.
I made it to the bridge, and was mind blown at how pretty it was. The way the lights reflect off the water was gorgeous and it makes the city look so classy. There was also this fine man trying to rock climb! I saw many groups of people just hanging out, passing time, some were participating in the practice of "Botelleon" where you just like openly drink wine or beer in the park.
As I walked back the way I came, the sun had set and the Torre del Oro was illuminated so that it could be the focal point of the city. I can't wait to go to the museum.
Each time I walk home, I pass this fountain. It is so pretty and often I don't even notice it anymore. It is crazy I can overlook such exquisite architecture.
