Santa Cruz tour (barrio: neighborhood)

Today, we went on a tour of the barrio called Santa Cruz. It is a very touristy neighborhood, because it houses the Cathedral and a castle built in the tenth century. That is old. I don't have much time to write, but I wanted to post these pictures! It gets so hot in Sevilla that they have misters attached to the outdoor restaurants that mist water every couple minutes!
I also saw some natural growing limes in the middle of the neighborhood!
I also thought it was interesting how the Europeans created a draining system for their sidewalks.
Check out how narrow those streets are- you cannot fit a car in there, which makes me think moving might be a pain. They built the streets so close together to provide shade because it gets so hot.
The castle was the coolest to me- it is so old! We also walked in the mote area and I took a picture of what used to be the front door, you can still see how it lowers like in the cartoons.
Lastly, the Cathedral was looking exceptionally Holy today. It is so detailed it just blows my mind.
